During these last days of Summer it is delightful that our local grocery store Publix continues to have delicious peaches available. I can't remember a year when the peaches have been so sweet and delicious.
Placing the peaches on a window sill for a day or two assures that they are totally ripe and ready to enjoy. I always wash them good, and leaving the peels on, just slice and enjoy. No sugar needed. They are so sweet and delicious.
It is peach season in the South.

We discovered Lane Southern Orchids while traveling up to central Georgia to visit our brother-in-law. It is delightful to go there, but they also have online ordering of peaches and many other items.
