We usually try to get up to the mountains in North Carolina sometime during the month of October. That is the time when the beautiful leaves change colors for the Fall season and reach their peak. According to what I can find out the leaves have reached about 40% of their color so far. So it sounds like we will still have a little "leaf watching" time.
A Fall day in Robbinsville, North Carolina
The above photo is a picture of the view from the front porch of our mountain cabin in Robbinsville, North Carolina during the 2012 Fall season. Ir will be interesting to arrive and see what the view is like now and how much the leaves have changed.
We will be gone for a couple of weeks and I hope to be able to find some pretty Fall pictures to capture with my camera.
I hope you have a beautiful cool Fall weekend in your area, and wish you many blessings wherever you may be.
